i bought this on a whim because i needed something for my dark hallway, and the courier called ahead to deliver it, which was nice. as a chef with kids running around, having a light that turns on by itself has been a game-changer for avoiding stubbed toes during those midnight snack runs. i've only had it for a couple of weeks, so it's still new to me, but so far, it's working well. i'd recommend placing it in spots where you move quickly to get the best response from the sensor. overall, for the price, it's a decent buy, and it does what it's supposed to without any fuss :)
- Pros: the light turns on automatically when i walk by, which is incredibly handy for late-night trips to the kitchen or when my hands are full with groceries. it saves energy by only lighting up when needed, and for the price, it's a solid deal. i like that it can be mounted in different ways, making it easy to install wherever i need some extra light.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the sensor might not always detect motion perfectly, especially if i'm moving slowly, and the brightness options could be more varied to suit different needs. it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't feel as reliable as i hoped, but for the price, it's not a huge issue.
