I had a problem with my living room feeling dull and boring especially during family gatherings I wanted something to liven it up without spending much so I bought this GoolRC light strip as a solution it was quite easy to install just stick it up and plug it in no tools needed the remote lets me pick all sorts of colors from across the room which is great for setting different moods during movie nights or when the kids have friends over the lights make everything more vibrant and enjoyable my takeaway is that for the price it does a nice job adding some excitement to our home though I wish it stuck better and felt more durable overall I am happy with how it turned out and it has become a fun part of our family time
- Pros: The remote works from quite a distance so I can change the lights without leaving my chair which is a big help for my old bones and the colors shift smoothly making everything look sleek and fun for the grandkids when they visit
- Cons: As it seemed to me the adhesive could be stronger it peeled off a bit in one corner after a few days and the remote feels a bit flimsy like it might not last long with rough handling from the kids
