before i got this, i was always stumbling around in the dark trying to find light switches, especially late at night when i'm checking on my dog or grabbing a snack. it was a gift for my partner, who appreciates practical things, and we thought it'd be perfect for our hallway. after using it for a couple of months, it's been a mixed bag. it does light up when it senses motion, which is great, but i've had moments where i've had to wave my arms to get it to turn on, which is a bit annoying. the energy saving is a nice touch, and it's simple to set up, but i expected a bit more consistency. overall, it's an okay product—does the job but could be better. i'm not sure if i'd buy another one, but it's not terrible.
- Pros: i liked that it turns on by itself when i walk in, which is handy for dark hallways or when my hands are full. it was easy to install, just screwing it in like a regular bulb, and it saves energy by not staying on all the time. the fact that it works with different power voltages is a plus, making it versatile for various setups.
- Cons: the motion sensing isn't always reliable; sometimes it doesn't detect me right away, or it turns off too quickly. the light output could be brighter for my needs, and i've noticed it might not work as well in colder temperatures. it's fairly basic and doesn't offer much beyond the basic function.
