I bought these as a gift for my husband's Smart car, and overall, I'm really pleased. Before, the old bulbs were dim and made it hard to see the plate, especially in rainy Philly nights—I was always worried about getting pulled over. Now, with these new lights, it's like night and day; the visibility is fantastic, and they add a nice touch to the car's rear. As an engineer, I appreciate the efficiency, but I wish the fit was perfect. For the price, though, it's a solid upgrade that boosts both safety and style. I'd recommend them with a small caveat on the fit.
- Pros: These lights are extremely bright and make my license plate so much easier to read at night, which is a huge plus for safety. I love how they use less power than the old ones, and installing them was a breeze—no tools needed, just a quick swap. They came as a pair, so both sides look even and stylish, giving my car a cleaner, more modern look.
- Cons: They could be wrong, but I noticed they don't fit as snugly as the original lights; there's a tiny gap that might let in moisture over time. Also, while they're bright, the light is a bit harsh and not as warm as I'd prefer, which could be an issue for some aesthetics.
