as someone who's always tinkering and studying i grabbed this lamp on a whim and it's been a decent addition to my desk the light is soft and doesn't strain my eyes which i appreciate during late nights working on freelance stuff but honestly i thought it would be sturdier given my diy habits it's held up okay for a few weeks but i'm not sure about long term the touch controls are intuitive no fumbling which is a plus and the extra light feature has come in handy a couple of times for quick fixes around the house a tip i found is to use it with a portable battery pack when outlets are scarce makes it more versatile overall it's good but not amazing could be wrong but it feels like it's missing that extra oomph for the price i'd say it's a solid choice if you need something simple and portable but don't expect it to be a game changer
- Pros: i love how this lamp is so easy to use with just a touch to change how bright it is and it works with a usb cable so i can plug it in anywhere without hunting for a wall socket the light is gentle on my eyes which is great for long hours at my desk and the little extra light for emergencies is a nice touch it fits well in my home office setup and looks sleek
- Cons: i expected more from the build quality it feels a bit flimsy and might not last too long with my diy projects around the house the brightness range could be better sometimes it's too dim for detailed work and the usb power means it relies on having a port free which can be a hassle
