i bought this as a gift for my husband who drives an older honda and i was hoping it would fix the knocking noises he complained about the packaging was intact when it arrived and it looked sturdy first impression was good it was easy to put in with basic tools and after driving for a bit the engine does feel smoother and the knocks are less frequent but not entirely gone its not without flaws but overall it seems to do its job well and i appreciate that it might help the car run better in the long term for the price its a decent buy but not perfect
- Pros: it slotted right in where the old part was with no hassle and i didnt need any special tools just the basics which was incredibly convenient for someone like me who isnt a car expert the engine seems to run smoother now and it feels like its helping the car last longer which is a big plus
- Cons: as it seemed to me the installation was a bit tricky at first because the instructions werent super clear and i had to figure some things out on my own also while it works well it didnt completely eliminate all the weird sounds right away which was a bit disappointing
