so, i bought this for my nephew since i don't have kids myself, and i'm a stay-at-home guy who likes to research things thoroughly before buying. q: what did i think? a: well, it arrived quickly, and i tested it out. the touch screen is responsive, and the camera is okay for snapping goofy photos, but it's not high-quality. it plays mp3s, but the speaker is tinny. q: is it educational? a: not really—just some basic games that feel more like time-wasters. q: would i recommend it? a: probably not, unless you want a simple toy. it's durable, i'll give it that, but overall, it's overpriced for what it does. as it seemed to me, it's more of a gimmick than a useful device. 😕
