As a chef, I appreciate things that work well and last, but this robotic dog left me a bit disappointed. Why did I buy it? Impulse, I suppose—saw it online and thought it'd be a cute gift. What do I like? The way it moves and barks is very entertaining at first, and it did spark some imaginative play. What don't I like? It broke down after just a couple of weeks, and now it's mostly gathering dust. Would I recommend it? Not really, unless you're okay with something short-lived. Overall, it's fun but not worth the trouble.
- Pros: It's very charming and lifelike in its movements, which my grandkids adore. The sounds are pleasant and not too loud, making it a fun companion. It seems sturdy and safe for little hands, and it encourages creativity through play.
- Cons: I was skeptical from the start, and most likely, it's not as durable as I hoped—after a short time, it started acting up. The novelty wears off quickly, and it feels a bit overpriced for what it offers. Finally, the delivery was a hassle; the courier called ahead, but it still arrived late.
