As someone who researches everything before buying, I had high hopes for this KONNWEI doorbell based on the description, but reality fell short. I expected a reliable way to monitor my front door, especially with a kid and pets around, but it seems inconsistent. The video is okay for basic use, but not great for identifying details in low light. The alerts are hit or miss, and the two-way audio has a lag that makes conversations awkward. For the price, I thought it would perform better, but it's just average. Not terrible, but not what I was hoping for :)
- Pros: It works out of the box with no wires, so setup was incredibly easy. The video is clear enough to see faces during the day, and the night vision helps a bit in the dark. Getting alerts on my phone when someone's at the door seems useful for security.
- Cons: The video quality isn't as sharp as I hoped, especially at night where details get fuzzy. The connection drops sometimes, making me miss alerts. The audio for chatting is often delayed or crackly, which is frustrating when trying to talk to visitors.
