I bought this as a gift for my partner to help with safety since we have a young kid and drive a lot in Toronto First impression it was easy to set up with basic DIY skills just plugged it in and it started working right away The dual cameras are a big plus covering both the front and inside so I feel more secure knowing everything is being recorded The loop recording is handy no need to delete old files manually It does what it says but the small screen is a minor annoyance Overall its a solid choice for the price and does its job well though not perfect
- Pros: The video quality is extremely sharp and clear making it easy to see details on the road and inside the car It feels durable and well-built with simple buttons that are easy to use even when Im half-awake in the morning I like that it records continuously without me having to worry about storage and the night vision works great turning dark scenes into something viewable The wide view captures a lot reducing blind spots which adds to safety
- Cons: The screen is a bit small making it hard to check footage quickly while driving The buttons while simple could be more responsive sometimes I have to press them a few times From what I feel the device gets a bit warm after long use which might affect longevity over time
