as a student in la, i researched a lot before buying this, and i'm a bit disappointed. i expected better performance for the price. it does the job, but not exceptionally. i wish it were more powerful or had better features. overall, it's okay, but i might look for something else next time. 😕
- Pros: it seems to clean the air in my whole apartment without missing corners, which is quite nice for my allergies. the quiet setting at night is barely noticeable, so i can sleep without disturbance. the reminder to change the filters is helpful, and it doesn't use much electricity, saving me some money.
- Cons: kinda meh that it only works well with specific brand filters, making replacements a hassle and more expensive. the night light is too dim to be useful, and the child lock feels unnecessary since i live alone. it's not as effective as i hoped for large spaces, and the build quality seems a bit cheap.
