so i got this for my chevy equinox, been driving it around for a couple months now, mostly city trips and a bit of travel, and it's been okay. installation was a breeze, no tools needed really, just popped the old one out and this one in, felt good to do it myself. but man, after putting it in, the abs light came on a few times, had to mess with the connections and stuff to get it sorted. it works fine now, stops the car when i need it to, but i'm not totally confident it'll last long. for the price, it's decent, but i expected a bit more reliability. probably would look for something else next time if this one gives out early :)
- Pros: extremely easy to install, just swapped it in without any hassle, feels like it belongs there, and my brakes respond quickly now, which is a big plus for safety
- Cons: after some settings tweaks, it most likely isn't as durable as i hoped, had a few hiccups with the system not reading right at first, and it's a bit finicky to get dialed in perfectly
