Before installing these, my hood had a bit of a wobble that made me nervous on drives. After putting them in, it's rock solid—no more worries about it popping open unexpectedly. As someone who likes to handle car stuff myself, I found the setup easy with basic tools. They do the job well for keeping things tight, though I wish the build quality was a bit more robust. Overall, a solid upgrade that adds peace of mind :)
- Pros: The locks are extremely sturdy and fit my Smart Fortwo perfectly, making the hood secure without any play. Installation was straightforward, and having a pair means I'm set for a while. They arrived on time, which was great.
- Cons: The finish could be a bit better; it's so-so and might not hold up as well in harsh weather as I'd hoped. Could be wrong, but it feels a tad less durable than expected for the price.
