As a chef I decided to try incubating some eggs at home on a whim and picked this up fairly impulsively. I set it up in my kitchen and it seemed to work well holding the warmth and humidity just as it should. I liked that I didn't need to fiddle with it much after getting it going. Over a couple of weeks it did the job and I ended up with a few chicks which was fun. It's not perfect though the unit is a bit bulky and I wish it were lighter. Overall it did what it promised and I'd use it again for small batches :)
- Pros: It kept the temperature and moisture levels steady which was great for hatching eggs and the controls were simple enough for me to figure out quickly without any fuss.
- Cons: The build felt a bit heavy and not as sleek as I expected and I had to double check the settings a few times to make sure they were right.
