my first impression was that this lamp from Refreshing Home looked sleek and modern, fitting well on my cluttered desk. i clamped it on, and it stayed put without any issues, which is great since i hate things that slide around. the adjustable arms let me direct light exactly where i need it, whether i'm reading or working on my car projects in the garage. the touch controls are intuitive, but i did notice a slight delay sometimes, making me tap twice. the three light modes are okay—one's bright for focusing, one's softer for relaxing, and one's in between—but i found myself wanting more customization, like dimming beyond those presets. overall, it does the job for basic lighting needs, and it's fairly budget-friendly, but it's not perfect. i'd recommend it if you're not too picky and just need something functional without frills :)
- Pros: the lamp is fairly light as a feather and easy to move around, which i liked for my small desk space. the clamp holds it securely without any wobbling, and being able to adjust the arms to point exactly where i need light is super handy. the touch controls are simple to use, just a tap to change how bright or warm the light feels, which helps when i'm working late and want to avoid straining my eyes.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the light options are a bit limited—only three settings, and i wish there were more ways to fine-tune it. sometimes the touch button doesn't respond right away, which can be annoying when i'm in a hurry. also, the build feels a tad cheap for the price, not as sturdy as i'd hoped.
