As a brand loyalist, I picked this up from the store for convenience, and my first impression was that it does the job but has some drawbacks. Installation was straightforward, and it's nice not fumbling in the dark anymore. However, the quality feels a bit off, and it doesn't match up perfectly with what I expected from Tautoparts. Overall, it's functional and helpful for safety with the family, but I wish it were a bit better made and brighter. I'd recommend it with reservations, as it seemed to me like an okay solution but not the best out there.
- Pros: It was super easy to put in, just a few screws and it was done, which was a big relief since I'm not super handy. The light works well in the dark, making it way easier to find the car door at night, especially with the kids around. It feels sturdy and has held up fine in some rainy weather so far.
- Cons: The fit wasn't perfect for my car, kinda meh, and it seemed a bit too flimsy in some spots, which made me worry about how long it'll last. Also, the light could be a bit brighter; it's helpful but not as good as I hoped.
