As a hcef with an early start, I rely on my alarm clock to get me up on time, and this one from Dongfang HOME D has been a mixed bag. I bought it a couple of months ago, hoping for something reliable and quiet, and it does deliver on the silence—no annoying ticks, which is a huge plus for light sleepers like me. The display is bright and legible, making it easy to see the time and temperature at a glance, and I've used the calendar function more than I expected to keep track of my shifts. But there have been mornings where the alarm just didn't cut it; it's not very loud, and I've overslept a couple of times, which is NOT ideal when you have a kitchen to run. Setting it up was straightforward, but the buttons are a bit cheap-feeling and require a firm press, which can be annoying in the half-alseep haze. Overall, it's functional and looks decent, but it could use some improvements in reliability and user-friendliness. I'm keeping it for now, but I might look for something better down the line.
