i bought this as a gift for myself, thinking it would solve all my blind spot worries, but reality is a bit different. i had high hopes after hearing about such things, but it's an acquired taste—it does help, just not as flawlessly as i imagined. for the price, i thought it would be better, but it's still a decent addition for peace of mind on long drives. store pickup was convenient, no issues there. overall, it's good but could be improved.
- Pros: i found it incredibly helpful for spotting cars i couldn't see, especially on motorways where things get busy. the warnings come through clearly with lights or sounds, which made me feel much safer while driving. installing it was straightforward with basic tools, no need for a professional, and it integrated well with my car's existing setup.
- Cons: from what i feel, it sometimes gives alerts when there's nothing really there, which can be a bit annoying. i expected it to be more precise, but it's not perfect. also, it only works well in certain conditions, like when it's not raining heavily, which is a letdown for uk weather.
