i bought this lock for my medicine cabinet because i was tired of my grandkids getting into things. delivery was quick, which was good. but honestly, i'm a bit disappointed. it's supposed to be light as a feather to use, but it's not always that simple. why does it sometimes not open even when i press my finger right? and what if my hands are wet from gardening? it makes me nervous that i might get locked out. on the bright side, it does keep things private, and it was easy to install myself. i just expected it to be more reliable for the price. overall, it's okay, but not perfect.
- Pros: it's quite easy to put on, no tools needed really, and it fits on my cabinet without any trouble. the battery lasts a long time, i haven't had to charge it yet, which is nice. it feels very solid and secure, like it could keep things safe.
- Cons: most likely, it doesn't work well with wet or dirty fingers, which is a bit of a hassle. sometimes it takes a few tries to recognize my print, and that can be frustrating. i wish it had a backup key option, just in case.
