Decision:

before i got this, i used a basic light that just stayed on steady, and i always worried about not being visible enough when braking. now, with this one, it automatically ramps up the brightness when i slow down, which feels much safer. as a healthcare worker, i value anything that reduces risks, and this does that well. it's simple to attach to my bike, and the rechargeable part saves me money and hassle. i've been using it for a couple of months on my daily commutes and weekend rides around strasbourg, and it's held up nicely. could be wrong, but it seems like a solid upgrade for anyone serious about cycling safety.

  • Pros: the light gets much brighter when i slow down or stop, which really helps cars see me better, especially in busy traffic. it's easy to charge with a usb cable, so no need for batteries, and it stays on even in rain or mud, making it reliable for all my rides.
  • Cons: one small downside is that it could be a bit too sensitive at times, activating the brighter light when i'm just coasting slowly, which might confuse drivers occasionally.
