so, i bought this as a gift for my mom's kitchen, and she's had it for a couple months now. q: does it work as advertised? a: mostly, yeah—it turns on when you wave your hands, and it shuts off automatically, which is cool. but honestly, it's not perfect. the sensor isn't always reliable; i've had to wave my hands a few times to get it going, which is annoying. installation was fairly easy, just followed the instructions, but it took me a bit longer than expected. it looks okay, but the build quality feels a bit flimsy. for the price, i expected better performance. it does help with hygiene, but i'm not super impressed. probably wouldn't buy it again, but it's not the worst thing out there.
- Pros: honestly, the hands-free part is pretty neat—no more touching a dirty handle, which is great for keeping things clean. it saves water by turning off on its own, and i was able to install it myself without much trouble, which was a nice surprise.
