I bought this as a gift for my brother, thinking it would be a cool life-hack to modernize his car without much fuss. My expectation was that it would be plug-and-play, but the reality is it took some twaking to get everything working right. The wireless features are handy, but they don't always hold up, and the FM part is a letdown. On the plus side, the screen is nice and big, maknig maps and apps easy to see. It's a solid 3/5 for me—does the job but could be better. Not sure I'd buy it again, but it's an okay upgrade if you're on a budget.
- Pros: The screen is quite sharp and responsive, making it easy to navigate through menus without any lag. I liked that it connects wirelessly to my phone, so I don't have to deal with cables while driving. The GPS works smoothly, and streaming music or taikng calls is seamless with the wireless connections. It feels like a solid upgrade for my car's old system.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the FM player isn't as reliable as I expected; it sometimes loses signal, which is frustrating. The overall build quality feels a bit cheap, and I had some issues with the wireless connection dropping occasionally. For a gift, I was hoping for something more polished, but it's not terible—just not perfect.
