as a software developer, i'm used to tinkering with tech, so i thought converting my old bike would be a fun project. the problem was my bike felt sluggish, especially with my kid on the back—it just couldn't handle the hills here in chennai. this controller seemed like a good deal, and it did deliver more power, no doubt. but the solution wasn't as straightforward as advertised; i spent a good chunk of time wrestling with the wiring and making sure everything was hooked up right. the takeaway is that it gets the job done if you're patient and don't mind a bit of diy, but it's not the most polished product out there. compared to others, it's affordable but lacks some finesse. overall, it's okay for the money, but i might look for something sturdier next time :)
