i bought this to keep an eye on my toddler while i'm in the kitchen cooking and it's been a real help the picture is so clear i can see if she's getting into mischief from the other room setup was straightforward just connected to my home network and it was ready to go i use it daily to peek in when i'm at work or out and it gives me that extra peace of mind though i've noticed it can be a bit finicky with the app occasionally freezing or losing connection which is a letdown compared to others i've tried in the same price range overall it does the job well for what i need but could be improved with better software stability
- Pros: the video is extremely clear and sharp making it easy to see every detail from across the room setting it up was a breeze with the wireless connection and i could get it running in minutes the remote access works well letting me check in from my phone no matter where i am and the plug fit perfectly in my uk sockets without any adapters needed delivery was quick too
- Cons: the app could be more intuitive sometimes it feels a bit clunky and i had a few moments where the connection dropped unexpectedly which was annoying for a device in this price range i expected a bit more reliability and the sound quality is just okay not as good as the video
