before i got this, i was always dealing with tangled wires in my car, which was a hassle, especially since i'm retired and just want things to work without fuss. i bought it on a bit of an impulse, thinking it would solve all my problems, and while it's quite an improvement, it's not perfect. after using it for a couple of weeks, i've noticed that it does make driving more convenient—i can access maps and play music wirelessly, which is nice. but it seems to have its moments where it acts up, like when i start the car, it doesn't always connect immediately, and i have to wait or fiddle with it. overall, it's a decent gadget that adds some smart features to my older car, but i'm not entirely happy with the reliability. i'd recommend it with some reservations, as it does what it promises most of the time, but be prepared for minor frustrations.
- Pros: the setup was incredibly simple, just plug it in and it started working right away, which was a relief. i like that i can now use my phone's apps and navigation without any cords cluttering up the car, and the sound for music and calls is very clear, no issues there. it integrates well with my car's existing system, so i didn't lose any features i was used to.
