as a freelancer who spends a lot of time on the road between meetings, i was hoping this would make my drives more seamless, but it's hit or miss. i did some research before buying, and it seemed like a good fit for my volvo, but in practice, it's not as smooth as i'd hoped. a tip i found helpful is to keep my phone charged and nearby to minimize issues, but it's not a perfect fix. overall, it's a decent gadget that could be better with some improvements—maybe in a future update :). i'd say it's a three out of five; does the job but has its quirks.
- Pros: it's fairly convenient to not have cables all over the place, and i liked that it works with both my phone types without needing extra stuff. setup was easy, just plug it in and it starts up quickly, which is nice for someone like me who isn't into complicated tech. the small size means it doesn't get in the way in my car, and it feels decent for the price.
- Cons: sometimes the connection drops unexpectedly, which can be frustrating when i'm driving and relying on it for directions or music. it doesn't always pair smoothly with my car's system, leading to delays or needing to restart things. the range isn't great, so if my phone isn't close by, it struggles a bit. could be wrong, but it feels a bit unreliable at times.
