As someone who's more into cars than computers, I bought this for my kid, thinking it would be a fun STEM project. We spent a weekend assembling it, and I have to say, it was a mixed bag. On one hand, it's cool to see it move and do things with the app—my son loved that part. But on the other hand, I kept thinking, 'Is this really educational or just a fancy toy?' The build process was messy; some pieces were tricky to snap together, and I had to redo a few steps. Programming it was easier with the simple app, but when we tried the other languages, it felt like too much work. Overall, it's a decent kit if you're patient and have some interest, but for the price, I expected a smoother experience. Maybe I could be wrong, but it didn't fully live up to the hype.
- Pros: The kit was just what I needed to get my feet wet in robotics without feeling overwhelmed. I liked that it works with different coding languages, so I could start simple and maybe try something more advanced later. The app for controlling it is handy, and putting it together myself made me feel like I actually accomplished something.
- Cons: It could be too complicated for a total beginner like me; I had to look up a lot of things online, and the instructions weren't always clear. Sometimes the parts didn't fit perfectly, which was frustrating. Also, it feels a bit pricey for what you get, and I'm not sure if it's worth it if you're not really into this stuff.
