So I got this thing a couple weeks ago and I'm like is it really worth it Well let me tell you it's pretty cool but not perfect. First off why did I buy it I hate touching gross lids and with a dog and a wife we make a lot of trash. It opens when I wave my hand which is awesome for hygiene but sometimes it acts up like if I'm in a hurry it doesn't sense me and I have to wave again which is annoying. The size is okay but we fill it up fast maybe I should have gotten a bigger one. Charging is easy with the cable but it takes hours and I forget to plug it in sometimes. Overall it's a good upgrade from the old manual can it makes life a bit easier and cleaner but it's not flawless. I'd recommend it if you're picky about germs like me but don't expect it to be magic.
- Pros: It opens automatically when I wave my hand which is extremely handy for keeping things clean especially after handling messy stuff like pet food or cooking. The design is sleek and fits well in my small apartment and I love that it charges with a cable so no need to mess with batteries. It works great in the bathroom and kitchen making me feel a bit fancier without any effort.
- Cons: Sometimes the sensor doesn't respond right away maybe if my hands are wet or I move too fast and it could be a bit bigger for all the trash we generate with our dog around. The charging takes a while and I worry it might not last as long as advertised but I could be wrong about that.
