My first impression was positive because it integrated seamlessly with my existing setup. As an engineer, I appreciate the straightforward design, but I wish it had a wider detection field. For the price, it's decent, but not perfect. I'd recommend it with some reservations. :)
- Pros: It worked right away with my smart hub, which was a relief. The size is extremely small, so it's easy to hide and doesn't draw attention. It sips power, so I most likely won't need to replace batteries for a long time, and it plays nice with other systems I have.
- Cons: I'm a bit unhappy that it only detects motion in a limited area, not the whole room. Sometimes it feels a bit slow to respond, which can be annoying when I'm in a hurry. The range isn't as great as I hoped, especially in larger spaces.
