First impression when I got this Toys Arts lock I was extremely hopeful because I hate carrying keys and Im all for new gadgets but honestly its a mixed bag setting it up wasnt as easy as I expected I had to fiddle with it for hours and the fingerprint reader is hit or miss some days it works fine others it just wont recognize me which is frustrating I keep the key handy just in case and that part is solid but for the price I paid I thought it would be better Ive used other smart locks before and this one feels a step down in reliability it does the job but with some annoyances could be wrong but I expected more from a brand I usually trust :)
- Pros: I liked that it opens with just a touch no keys needed and the backup key is a lifesaver when tech acts up the black finish looks nice and matches my door well
- Cons: The fingerprint part could be more reliable sometimes it takes a few tries to work and the installation was a bit tricky for me even with my DIY experience it feels a bit flimsy compared to other locks Ive had
