i finally got this on a whim after seeing it online, thinking it would solve my security worries. as an engineer, i appreciate how straightforward it is to use, but i'm a bit disappointed because it doesn't fully meet my needs. it's helpful for keeping an eye on things, especially with my interest in keeping my space safe and stylish, but the constant false alerts and storage issues make it less perfect. overall, it's good for basic monitoring, but not the best out there.
- Pros: the picture is very clear and sharp, which helps me see everything in my home easily. i liked that it can see a wide area, so i don't have to place multiple devices. getting alerts for movement is quick and reliable, and it works well in the dark too. setup was simple and fast, which was a relief.
- Cons: the storage seems limited even with the included card, as it fills up quickly with recordings. sometimes the alerts are too sensitive and notify me for small things like shadows, which gets annoying. i wish it had better ways to manage the footage without constant checks.
