I bought this for my old BMW to make it feel more modern, and overall, it's been a decent upgrade. I use it daily for drives around LA with my kid, and it's handy for playing tunes and getting directions without fuss. The responsiveness is good, and I appreciate not having to fiddle with buttons while driving. But honestly, I was hoping for something a bit better given the hype; it does the job, but there are little annoyances that add up. For the cost, I expected fewer hiccups, and it doesn't wow me like I thought it would. Still, it's functional and gets me from A to B with less stress.
- Pros: I was super impressed with how smoothly everything runs; no waiting around for apps to load, and there's plenty of space for all my music and maps. The voice commands actually work well, making it easy to control things without taking my hands off the wheel, and having internet access on the go is a game-changer for staying connected. It fits perfectly in my BMW, looking like it was made for it, and the navigation keeps me from getting lost, which is a relief.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the setup was a bit tricky, and I had some issues getting my iPhone to connect reliably at first, which was frustrating. The sound quality isn't the best, and I wish it were clearer for music playback. Sometimes the voice recognition misses what I say, especially in noisy conditions, and the overall feel could be more polished for the price.
