Decision:

before getting this, i was hesitant about diving into robotics kits, worried they'd be too simplistic or proprietary. after spending some time with it, i found it to be a practical entry point. the compatibility with common development boards made it easy to start programming right away, and the open-source aspect means i can modify things as i learn. it's been a fun project to work on with my child, teaching basics of movement and coding. while it's not the most robust build, it serves its purpose well for beginners and tinkerers. i'd recommend it with the caveat that you might outgrow it quickly if you're looking for more advanced features.
