As a stay at home dad in San Jose I was fairly stressed about our energy bills especially with all the gadgets running non stop I needed a solution to cut costs without sacrificing comfort This monitor from Siemens solved that problem by showing me exactly where power is being used in real time I installed it myself it was quick and now I get texts alerting me to high usage so I can adjust things immediately The takeaway is I am already seeing savings and feel more in control of our home energy use delivery was quick too
- Pros: I can say for sure this thing is a game changer for tracking energy use it gives real time updates on every circuit and sends alerts to my phone making it easy to spot power hogs and save money the setup was straightforward with all parts included and it works wirelessly which is super convenient
- Cons: Could be wrong but the initial cost is a bit high for my budget and it requires some basic electrical knowledge to install which might not suit everyone
