so, i bought these on a whim after seeing an ad online—classic impulsive me, right? : ) i was tired of my old blinds that my toddler kept pulling on, and i thought, why not get something fancy? installation was a bit of a headache; i had to measure everything twice and still ended up calling a friend for help, but once they were up, wow, they're incredibly convenient. i use them every day to darken the room for nap time or when i'm working from home and need to focus. the remote is a lifesaver, and being able to control them with my voice through my smart home system feels like magic, though it doesn't always work perfectly. the fabric is thick and really does keep the room dark, which is a huge plus for sleep. but honestly, the battery life is a letdown—i have to recharge it more often than i expected, and the app can be glitchy, making me wish i'd thought it through more. overall, they're a solid upgrade, but not without their quirks.
- Pros: i love how easy these are to use with the remote or my phone, and they fit my big window perfectly without any cords getting in the way. the fabric blocks out all the light, which is great for my kid's naps, and they look really nice in my living room.
