Autel Robotics EVO II Dual 640T V3 Drone - 640x512 Thermal, 8K Camera, Remote ID
Meet the Autel Robotics EVO II Dual 640T V3—your new best friend in the sky if you're serious about thermal imaging. It's not just a drone; it's a powerhouse with a 640x512 thermal resolution and a 50MP 8K RYYB sensor that doesn't miss a beat (or a heat signature).
Why settle for basic when you can go advanced? This beast offers 10 thermal color palettes (because who doesn't love options?), along with central, spot, and regional temperature measurement. And yes, it'll even nudge you with a temperature warning when things get too hot to handle.
With SkyLink 2.0 Technology, say goodbye to choppy feeds. We're talking 15km video transmission that's as smooth as butter, thanks to 2.7K image quality and tri-band communication (2.4GHz/5.8GHz/900MHz) that laughs in the face of interference.
Got 38 minutes? That's how long this drone can stay airborne, dodging obstacles like a pro with its 360° obstacle avoidance and Dynamic Track 2.1. It's like having a co-pilot who's always got your back.
Whether you're putting out fires, keeping the peace, rescuing folks, or inspecting power lines, this drone's got you covered. And it comes loaded—Smart Controller V3, 3 batteries, propellers, and more. Because why go halfway when you can go all in?

As someone who works in research and often needs to monitor temperatures in various environments, this drone has been a game-changer. I use it for checking on equipment and even for keeping an eye on my pets when they're out in the yard. The ability to measure temperatures accurately in different areas is fantastic, and the warnings for high heat have already come in handy. It handles well in the air, avoiding obstacles smoothly, which gives me peace of mind. However, it's not perfect; the weight makes it a bit cumbersome, and I wish it were easier to transport. Overall, despite the high cost and minor drawbacks, it does exactly what I need and more, so I'd say it's worth the investment for serious users like me.
- Pros: The image quality is incredibly sharp and detailed, making it easy to spot even the smallest heat sources from a distance. I was impressed by how long it stays in the air on a single charge, giving me plenty of time to complete my tasks without rushing. The transmission of the video feed is smooth and reliable, even when I'm far away, which is a huge plus for my work.
- Cons: It's fairly heavy and bulky to carry around, which can be a hassle when I'm on the move. The initial setup took longer than I expected, and I had some trouble getting used to all the different color options for the thermal view. Also, the price is on the higher side, which might not be for everyone.
