As a beginner, I picked this up from the store for convenience, and overall, it's decent for the cost. I use it to film my garden and kids playing, and the videos come out nice, but it has its flaws. Tip: fly it in calm weather to avoid issues with stability. Hack: keep an eye on the temperature and take breaks to prevent overheating. I could be wrong, but it feels like it could be improved with better build quality. Not perfect, but it gets the job done for basic aerial shots :)
- Pros: The flight time is super long, I could fly it for ages without needing to recharge, which is great for capturing lots of footage. The camera adjusts easily to get different angles, and it takes really clear videos from up high. It's fun to use gestures to take pictures without touching anything, and it does flips that look cool. It helps avoid bumping into things indoors, making it safer to use around the house.
- Cons: It runs hot after a while, which worries me a bit. The alerts for when it goes too far aren't always reliable, and I've had some close calls. The positioning isn't as precise as I hoped, sometimes it drifts a bit. For the price, I expected more durability or better performance in windy conditions.
